Travel Budget: Krabi, Thailand

I’m getting old, and remembering the details of the travel are hard especially when friends asking how much you spend, how you travel by, the budget, its getting hard to really give them accurate guides or tips when the travel is months or even years ago. So here, I’ll like to blog some of the information if anyone would like to know or plans to go there in the future.
Travel Period: 4 Days 3 Nights/11-14 Dec 2008
Travel Season: PEAK Season (From Oct- Jan)

We did not arrange for Airport Transfer or even book any Tour from Local Malaysia Tour Agent. Its more to a Free & Easy Holiday and Holiday in  Krabi is pretty easy, we took Airport Bus to our hotel & book day Tour in Krabi.
Airport Bus To Hotel
(You can check with the bus operator whether they can drop you  off at the hotel, just tell them the hotel name and to call you when reach the hotel)
Day 1 on Arrival
Free & Easy.
Thai Massage
Lunch- Beef Noodle from Roadside Stall
Dinner-Upmarket Thai Restaurant
Day 2
Full Day Island Tour By Speed BoatSwimming, Sun Bathing, Snorkelling, Maya Bay, Phang Nga Bay, Phi Phi Island and others.
(Don’t waste time going with Long Boat, Its a waste of time &  can’t save much)
Dinner- Buffet Dinner at Western Restaurant
Day 3
Half Day Canoeing & Half Day Elephant Ride(If you never tried Elephant Ride, then you may want to try, its quite a bumpy ride and the distant is very near, takes less than 1 hour ride)
Dinner- Dinner at Local Thai Restaurant
* All Day tours include Lunch, Drinks, Fruit, Gear for snorkelling, Hotel Transfer.
Day 4
Free & Easy
Lunch- Mc Donald while waiting for bus
Total Spend for 2 Person:
RM1,875 + THB 7,920 (approx RM792) = RM2,667.
This is considered an expensive trip, due to we did not enjoy any cheap promotion from Air Asia
